I've been living in the Twin Cities for over two years now, and I'm enjoying my time here. I'm basically looking to see what is out there, and if what is out there is worthy enough of me. I'm totally up for meeting and making new friends along the way. :)

I'm a pretty amazing person, and I say that with the least amount of cockiness possible. In most of my life pursuits I've accomplished awesome things. I graduated from college earlier this year with an MFA in painting. I love making art, it's my passion and my life. Makeup is a strong love of mine too and very much a part of my daily or weekly creative process. When I'm not doing either of these things I'm working one of three jobs I currently have. I work as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, a chatty blue-eyed coffee slingin' barista, and a regular retail job that is anything but regular (ask me about it later). I'm independent, self-sufficient, a go-getter. When I want to make something happen I don't just think about it, I go out and do it.

I am also transgender and have been transitioning now from male to female for over 13 months. It's been a pretty amazing and liberating process, and although my trans status does not define me completely it is a big part of my life right now. I believe strongly in remaining visible in public about it since the world really needs positive trans role models (such as Janet Mock) and trans folk who aren't afraid to put it out there and demonstrate that it's a natural part of life.
