Hi, My name's Lindsay. Now before you ask, yes, Lindsay is a unisex name (contrary to what most people might think). Well to start with the basics, I am just finishing a gap year between high school and university, and I'll be going to UofT come september (something I'm quite excited about). Some of my interests/favourite things: -Reading: I love reading and usually have at least two books on the go (generally a fiction and non-fiction book). I don't usually discriminate on genres, though I'm partial to fantasy/sci-fi and historical fiction. -Cooking: I love cooking, it's something that I find incredibly relaxing, plus cooking for someone else (and having them enjoy it) brings such a great feeling. -History/Politics: I'm very interested in history and politics (coincidentally, it's what I'm studying in University. -Music: I love music of pretty much all genres (never got into rap) and I've been playing the flute for about 8 years now. Things you should know about me: -Religion: I am an atheist and while I'm certainly not preachy nor a jerk (at least I hope not) about it, it might be a topic of contention for you religious people out there. -Politics: I'm quite liberal, both socially and economically. Just letting you know Smile -Cats: I'm an animal person, and while I love both dogs and cats...I'm a little partial to cats. What I'm looking for: Something long-term; I'm not interested in any short term flings. I want to feel a connection with a person, the kind of connection that can only be felt in a stable relationship. I'm also looking for someone who likes to have fun and wants to just go out and experience the world with somebody.
