I only ever meet in public places for the first few dates. Anywhere we can hear each other talk is good to begin with, especially if we can actually look at one another instead of side to side...let's save the movies for when we can enjoy a comfortable silence.

Oh, important to note: while it's certainly quite all right to ask me about anything trans, please have the tact to not talk about it in public. You wouldn't believe some of the people I've gone out with.

I'm the only person I know who has never cheated and thinks marriage is important, and I'm the only person I know who might not be able to get truly married in my lifetime. I was engaged before and I hope to be again.

Mit mål i livet er

My whole life has been about children, so that isn't likely to change anytime soon. I was just working at a famous company designing; there's a good chance your own kids probably even own something of mine. :) But now I'm trying to find something else. I also plan to write and illustrate children's books. Whatever occupation I may find myself with in the future, it will probably somehow be kid related. I would also be very happy adopting, marrying someone who already has kids, or even becoming a housewife in that case; my mom was a housewife and I believe her when she says it's one of the hardest jobs to have (when you do it right.)

But in until I get back into my field, I would take anything! Please let me know if you have any work or know of any openings in the Los Angeles area.

Min forestilling om hvad der er sjovt er

I have that Peter Pan syndrome thing but I get to work doing children's stuff so no one's the wiser. (I'm also woefully unemployed at the moment and so sleep with a night light on. Thanks Outsourcing.)

I hate stereotypes but the only thing I love better than clothes and shoe shopping is cuddling tiny woodland animals.

I can become insecure when the wind changes direction, but I really think I've got a far better handle on drama than most other people.

I try really hard to balance my not being religious with my hating hypocrisy. Sometimes this is a perfect match but sometimes it fails utterly, usually at funerals.

I'm only a little tiny bit Scottish but love everything that means and everything people falsely think that means. Even though that completely goes against me hating stereotypes. Even though *that* completely goes against me hating hypocrisy.

I am the drummer when plastic rocking and ONLY the drummer buddy.

I usually hear from guys that I'm not any different from a genetic girl. That is very *rarely* meant as a compliment. I'm often viewed as normal enough to be seen with in public for a first date but not slutty enough for a second one. That I'm not worthwhile because I dislike my downstairs instead of wanting to stick it into dark, scary and - almost without fail - Republican places. That a "real girl" could provide more sexually without the fear of being outed.

But I'm just a nice girl. It makes me really sad that the only people who actually seem to get the whole "trapped in the wrong body" thing is everyone else who *isn't* an admirer. And it makes me feel very very alone in this world.

But somewhere out there is a man who wants marriage, the white picket fence and barbecues with the neighbors and letting me be the stepmom if you have kids. Because I'm not looking for a 'discrete' anything. :)
