Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am a mature (midcentury) male who is seeking out transgender contacts for conversation, friendship and mutual understanding (before they "disappear" into the greater culture... in an attempt to assimilate). I am mid-western born (Minnesota actually) and was raised in a very traditional and sheltered environment... The topic of transgender cultural "blending" of the sexual population was never discussed (it must have been considered too taboo a subject) and I became aware of it after "years of personal misinformation..." I grew up with (and out of) a neurological disorder...From which I experienced a good degree of social ostracization (myself) and after years of "medication" ... a "skewing" of my own mind and body psychosexuality. I have been married twice (once to a younger woman from the Midwest) - to whom I could not relate and to an older woman... a trained psychologist and medical psychotherapist - living in Manhattan... (to whom, I could relate.) I am seeking an understanding of your community-with it's extremely important take (my opinion) on human identity and sexuality for the world of today and tomorrow.
